We have
done many things to assure you of a trouble free vacation. We are sticklers for
detail. Our vehicles are new and are professionally maintained and serviced. Each vehicle
undergoes a systematic, 80
point pre-delivery inspection.
However,
machinery can occasionally experience problems. In the unlikely event of
mechanical difficulties, we have designed the
FOX VacationSaver
to help you get back on the road as quickly as possible. We will give it to you
in writing. The
VacationSaver
Policy
explains what is covered, allowance amounts, and how to claim reimbursement.
Subject to the provisions of the policy, here is a summary of the coverage:
What is
Fully Covered
The
following items are fully covered: all components necessary for proper engine
operation, drive train, and brakes. If your vehicle needs repairs requiring
over 24 hours for any of these items, an allowance of $25 per day per adult (18
years and older) for food and lodging and $25 per day for car rental will be
paid. This allowance, and any combination of full or partial allowances, is
limited to $1,200 per vacation, the adult capacity of the vehicle (the number of
seat belts), and will never be more than the time charges on the original rental
agreement. The total daily allowance of full and partial allowances will never
be more than the daily time charge on the original rental agreement.
What is
Partially Covered
The
following items are partially covered: automotive air conditioning, forced air
furnace, microwave oven, refrigerator, house water pump, auxiliary batteries
(defects only), 110-volt air conditioning, water heater, toilet
and shower. Should any of the items listed fail to operate, an allowance of $10
per day per item, up to a maximum of $70 per item will be paid. This allowance
is limited to a maximum of $300 per vehicle. All other items are not covered.
Repairs
You are
authorized to proceed with necessary repairs up to $100. To begin activation of
the
VacationSaver
Policy,
you must notify us immediately. We will work with you to solve the problem,
authorize you to make any necessary repairs, and authorize
VacationSaver
allowances. You must receive our authorization to proceed with repairs above
$100. Replacement parts must be returned for reimbursement.
